The management software for building material sellers
A builders merchant works on several fronts on the same day: the counter customer who wants three bags of cement, the construction company asking for a quote for a site, the supplier delivering a truckload of bricks. Each of these often lives in a different program, or in a spreadsheet.
Truxia puts them in one management system: one warehouse, one catalog, one cash book. Every receipt, delivery note or invoice updates stock and accounts the moment you issue it.
Builders merchants, material yards and distributors
Truxia is built for companies that sell construction materials: builders merchants with a counter open to the public, yards that supply construction companies, distributors that buy from manufacturers and sell to sites.
You don't need everything on day one: start with the warehouse and the counter, and add quotes, orders and purchasing when you need them, on the same data.
One record, from catalog to payment.
Always know what you have, where, and what it is worth
Every item has its barcode, its unit of measure and its stock per storage location: the yard, the shed, the second store.
Every receipt creates a lot with its cost, supplier and expiry; every issue draws from the oldest lots, so the cost of goods sold stays the real one.
Barcodes
Search and scan items at the counter and in the warehouse.
Storage locations and transfers
Stock per location, and transfers between locations with their lots.
Lots
Cost, supplier and expiry of every receipt, used oldest first.
Physical inventory
Count the goods and Truxia records the differences as movements.
Valuation
The value of your stock, computed from the lots still in the warehouse.
Catalog import
Load items, prices and minimum stock from a file.
The counter, connected to warehouse and till
At the counter you scan or search items, take cash, card or cheque and print the receipt. Truxia works out the change, takes the goods out of the warehouse and records the takings in the cash book.
At the end of the day you get the takings split by VAT rate. A wrong receipt is voided with its reason: the goods go back into stock, the takings are reversed and the receipt stays in the history.

Nothing entered twice between counter, warehouse and till.
From quote to invoice, one document after another
Construction companies buy through quotes, orders and site deliveries. Each customer can have its own price list and promotions, which Truxia applies to the quote lines.
The accepted quote becomes an order and commits the goods. Deliveries, partial ones too, leave with their delivery note and take the goods out of the warehouse; the order knows what has shipped and what is still to deliver.
At the end of the period you invoice delivery notes one by one or in a summary invoice, without retyping lines and prices.

What you buy lands where you sell
Purchase orders, received delivery notes and supplier invoices live in the same system as your sales. Received goods create their lots at their purchase cost.
So the margin of every sale starts from the real cost of the goods, not from an average price typed by hand.
Costs and revenue in the same books.
Site requests come to you
Truxia is connected to Restruct, Galdiero Systems' management software for construction companies. The companies using it request offers for the materials of their sites.
In Truxia you receive the requests, answer with your offer and show your catalog in the public showcase.
New customers, without changing software.
Questions about the software
Who is Truxia for?
For companies selling construction materials: builders merchants with counter sales, yards supplying construction companies and building material distributors.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Truxia is a web application: you use it from the browser, in the office, at the counter and in the warehouse.
Can I import my catalog?
Yes. Items, prices and minimum stock are imported from a file, without entering them one by one.
Do counter sales update the warehouse?
Yes. Every receipt takes the goods out of the warehouse and records the takings in the cash book; if you void it, the goods go back and the takings are reversed.
Can I invoice several delivery notes together?
Yes. You can issue one invoice per delivery note, or one summary invoice for a customer's delivery notes in the period.
What does Restruct have to do with it?
Restruct is Galdiero Systems' management software for construction companies. The companies using it can request offers from suppliers using Truxia, who receive them and answer from their own software.
