Deliveries and invoices that match the warehouse
In the building materials trade goods travel with a delivery note and are invoiced at the end of the period. In Truxia every delivery note moves the warehouse and updates the order it belongs to.
At the end of the period, delivery notes become invoices without retyping lines and prices.
The delivery note that ships the order
An issued delivery note takes goods out of the warehouse and, if it ships lines of a customer order, updates the shipped quantities in the same operation.
A delivery note that moved stock cannot have its items edited: the warehouse must always match the documents. If you delete it, warehouse and order go back to how they were.

Incoming goods, in their place
A received delivery note loads the warehouse and, if it brings lines of a purchase order, updates the received quantities.
So you always know what you ordered, what arrived and what is missing.
Ordered, arrived, missing: always in view.
One invoice per delivery note, or one for the period
You can invoice each delivery note on its own, or gather a customer's delivery notes for the period into a summary invoice.
Lines and prices come from the delivery notes: the invoice is not rewritten.
