A builders merchant's warehouse, without surprises
Bags, pallets, rebar, tiles: at a builders merchant goods move every day between the yard, the shed and customers' sites. Truxia's warehouse records every movement with the document that created it.
The counter, delivery notes and purchasing all work on the same stock: what you see on screen is what you have on the shelf.
One item, one code, one record
Every item has its code, barcode, unit of measure, prices and minimum stock.
The catalog is imported from a file: items, prices and minimum stock arrive in one go, without typing them in.
Barcodes
Items are searched and scanned at the counter, in the warehouse and during stocktaking.
Units of measure
Pieces, bags, metres, kilos: each item has its own.
Import from file
Your existing catalog enters Truxia from a file.
Minimum stock
The quantity below which an item should be reordered.
Know where every piece is
Stock is kept per storage location: the yard, the shed, the second store.
A transfer moves goods from one location to another together with their lots, cost and expiry.
Every location with its own stock.
The real cost of every receipt
Every receipt of goods creates a lot with its cost, supplier, lot number and expiry.
Every issue draws from the oldest lots unless the operator picks one: so the cost of goods sold stays that of the receipt they come from.

Count, compare, close
Open a stocktake on the locations you want to count and record quantities by hand or with the scanner.
On closing, Truxia records one adjustment for every line that differs, linked to the stocktake: the differences stay traceable in the movements.
Adjustments are never lost: they stay in the movements.
What your warehouse is worth
Stock value is computed from the lots still in the warehouse, each at its own cost.
Each item's average cost follows the lots coming in and going out, so the valuation always matches the goods you hold.
A valuation that matches the shelf.
Questions about the warehouse
Can I manage several warehouses or stores?
Yes. Stock is kept per storage location and goods move between locations with transfers.
How are lots drawn down?
Oldest lot first, unless the operator names a specific one.
Can I keep selling during a stocktake?
Yes. Each line compares the count with the stock at the moment you count it, so sales made in the meantime are not counted twice.
Can I import the catalog I already have?
Yes. Items, prices and minimum stock are imported from a file.
